Director of Youth and Family Ministry

Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church (ELCA) - “Serving Christ through Faith, Fellowship and Service” - seeks a full-time Director of “Youth and Family Ministry” for a congregation of approximately 750 baptized members.  Saint Andrew’s is located in Columbia, Missouri, home of the University of Missouri, Columbia College, and Stephen’s College.  Columbia continually ranks as one of America’s best small cities providing excellent health care facilities, award winning schools, and a wonderful park and recreation system. The Director is responsible for working with all aspects of youth and family ministries including the high school and college student ministries.  The Director should have proven organization skills and ability to recruit and lead adult volunteers in providing programs to all youth in the church community, including Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. As a program coordinator, the Director should have supervisory experience and demonstrated skills in developing ministries.
