Anonymous Angels
Several of our saints have seen specific needs other saints are experiencing and wanted to assist. These saints are also sensitive to the way we feel: Even with a big need, we may be reluctant or embarrassed, and thus do not ask. In addition to doing something anonymously, they are developing a ministry called Anonymous
Angels. Doing things properly, with Molly Zitsch (Chair of the Ministry Team) in the lead, they approached the Church Council and received enthusiastic support. Here is how it works.
On the First Sunday of each month there will be a box just outside the Centrum
doors, marked Anonymous Angels. In this box you may place a check made out to St. Andrew’s or cash or a prepaid credit card for the amount of your choice. And/or, you may place a note indicating a need you see that may be rather hidden. One of us will follow up on that card to determine what is best. If, along with the name,
you give a specific gift to address the need, we will make sure that is conveyed with a sense that we all get to share in the joy of God’s generosity.
Thanks to our big-hearted saints.
