Celebrating 60 Years

Slightly over 60 years ago, a dedicated group of Lutherans decided to form an ELCA Church in Columbia, Missouri. After ordination in June 1957, Morris Niedenthal, with his rural roots, was called to provide spiritual leadership and assist the fledgling group become functional. It was named St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in 1958 to recognize the first person Christ called to be a disciple, the first of a group of common individuals like most of us. Download the PDF of the 60th anniversary booklet.
